Book Cover

This project was created during study in the Graphic and Interactive Design program at Harrisburg Area Community College. The project aim was to take an original work and convert it into a graphic design piece. An original pen drawing depicting various textures wrapping around complex forms was converted into a cover for a book that discusses scenarios and locations where people have abandoned industrialized urban areas. The cover illustrations represent nature’s ability to return and diversify around our abandoned waste and ruins, depicted by the natural textures covering the man-made forms.
